“Tell me the last time you were part of a business where every new government regulation became a reason for celebration.”Jussi Veiko Saloranta, CEO, Corsair Group International

For most businesses, new regulations create uncertainty, additional costs, and operational challenges. For companies that are already building the future, they become validation of their hard work.

That is exactly what caught my attention during the latest Corsair Group International leadership update.

As a transformational mentor through Inner Mirror Decoder, my work focuses on helping people create clarity, strengthen leadership, and align their lives with purpose. While my primary mission is personal transformation, I also support purpose driven businesses that create measurable value for individuals, communities, and the world around us.

Corsair Group International is one of those businesses. Their mission is simple yet profound: transform plastic waste into valuable resources while helping accelerate the circular economy.

A Historic Opportunity

According to CEO Jussi Veiko Saloranta, the second half of 2026 could become one of the most important periods in Corsair's history.

Several major regulatory changes are aligning with the company's commercial expansion, creating a unique window of opportunity for advanced plastic recycling throughout Europe and beyond. Rather than adapting to change, Corsair has spent years preparing for it.

Study this overview from the Corsair Group International's mid July 2026 community update:

Europe is changing the rules about plastic waste

The European Union is introducing regulations that fundamentally change how plastic waste will be managed.

  1. Plastic Waste Export Ban

Beginning in November 2026, the European Union will prohibit the export of plastic waste outside the EU.

Germany alone exported more than 800 million kilograms of plastic waste last year, while the EU as a whole exported an estimated 2.5 to 3 billion kilograms annually.

That material will now need to be sorted, processed, and recycled within Europe.

For companies with compliant recycling capacity, this represents a significant opportunity.

  1. Plastic pollution continues to rise in Europe

Despite years of awareness campaigns and restrictions on single use plastics, data from the European Parliament shows that plastic production and pollution across Europe have continued to increase over the past decade. The challenge is no longer someone else's problem.

It is Europe's responsibility.

  1. Pressure on European plastic waste incineration

New European policies are also increasing pressure on plastic incineration through higher taxation and stricter environmental requirements.

The direction is clear:

  • Less burning

  • More recycling

For companies that invested early in scalable recycling technology, these developments reinforce the value of their long term strategy.

Corsair Finland commercial production begins

Corsair's Finnish facility is entering full commercial production during late August and September 2026.

The timing aligns remarkably well with the changing regulatory landscape.

As Europe searches for additional recycling capacity, facilities that meet high environmental and operational standards become increasingly valuable.

Corsair is built to meet SHEQ

Corsair operates according to the internationally recognised SHEQ principles:

  • Safety

  • Health

  • Environment

  • Quality

These standards are designed to protect employees, surrounding communities, and the environment while maintaining consistent industrial quality.

Another significant milestone is the company's REACH certification.

R.E.A.C.H. is the European Union's regulatory framework governing chemical safety.

Achieving compliance demonstrates that Corsair's processes and products meet rigorous European standards for safety, environmental protection, and quality.

For industrial partners, investors, and regulators, this provides independent validation of the company's operational excellence. https://www.trade.gov/eu-reach

Corsair commercial growth is already underway

Corsair has now moved beyond demonstration into commercial execution.

The company has already completed multiple shipments of recycled oil and has established a schedule for recurring deliveries every two weeks to a major international petrochemical partner.

These regular commercial shipments represent an important milestone in scaling operations and generating sustainable revenue.

International interest continues to grow

Corsair's expertise is attracting attention well beyond Europe.

CEO Jussi Veiko Saloranta is currently participating in high level meetings in Sarawak, Malaysia, following an invitation from a committee representing government officials, financial institutions, and major public organisations.

Our objective is ambitious.

Develop practical solutions for one of the region's most pressing environmental challenges: plastic waste.

This follows previous visits by Malaysian government delegations to Corsair's operations, illustrating growing international confidence in the company's technology and long term vision.

From personal responsibility to collective responsibility

One reason Corsair resonates with the work I do is that it reflects the same principle I teach every day: real transformation begins with responsibility.

Whether we are changing our mindset, improving our health, building stronger businesses, or reducing our environmental impact, lasting progress starts when we choose conscious action over passive observation.

As an independent business associate of Corsair, I help entrepreneurs and organisations understand their plastic footprint and explore practical solutions to become Plastic Neutral through blockchain verified Plastic Credits by CSR.

There is no greenwashing involved. Every digital certificate provides transparent verification that 100 grams of plastic waste has already been collected and processed.

By buying plastic waste removal services, businesses can take measurable responsibility for their environmental impact while supporting the expansion of certified recycling infrastructure. These partnerships create a true win win situation: companies can demonstrate real action towards reducing their plastic footprint, while customers contribute to a cleaner future through the products and services they choose.

Together, we can move from awareness to action and create a more circular and sustainable future.

Purpose creates momentum

The coming months will be significant due to:

• Regulatory change.

• Commercial expansion.

• International partnerships.

• Growing demand for advanced recycling.

Combine, they create a rare alignment between environmental necessity and business opportunity.

Corsair demonstrates that when innovation, integrity, and long term vision come together, regulations no longer become obstacles.

They become confirmation that you were building the future before everyone else realised it was needed. That is the kind of business worth paying attention to.
